At 10:25 p.m. a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing Quinpool Road at Oxford Street. The victim, a 19-year-old Halifax man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver, a 38-year-old Timberlea man, was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
