At 7:04 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Oxford Street and North Street in relation to a two vehicle collision. According to an independent witness, a Land Rover driving west on North Street went through a red light at Oxford Street and ran into the passenger side door of a Volkswagen Golf travelling north on Oxford Street. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. The two adult occupants of the Land Rover were treated by EHS at the scene for minor injuries and the three adult occupants of the Volkswagen were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries, which at this time, do not appear to be life-threatening. Charges are expected to be laid against the driver of the Land Rover.
