At 9:57 a.m., officers responded to a weapons call in the 0-100 block of Kennedy Drive in Dartmouth. Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old woman who had sustained a wound to the thigh and possible facial injuries. The woman was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The victim and the supect are known to one another and this is not a random act. The matter is still under investigation with the suspect being sought by police.
