At 8:47 a.m., police responded to a robbery at the Circle K Irving, 503 Old Sambro Road. A woman entered the store and demanded cash from the male employee. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect fled on foot. The employee was not injured. Subsequent investigation led officers to a vehicle in the Fairview area and two women were arrested and taken into custody to be interviewed. The investigation is ongoing.
