At 12:10 a.m., a 21-year-old man was waiting for a transit bus at Lacewood Drive and Willet Street in Halifax. He was approached by two males, one of whom pulled out a knife and demanded the victim’s belongings. The victim attempted to run from the suspects, and in doing so, he dropped his wallet. One of the suspects picked up the wallet and then both suspects left the area on foot. The victim went to a nearby business and called police. The victim was not injured during the incident. A short time later, two suspects who matched the description provided by the victim were arrested on Gebhardt Street. A knife was also recovered. At this time, the two suspects, aged 19 and 14, have been released from custody pending further investigation.
