At 10 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at Point Pleasant Park. A 21-year-old man was in the park on the main path off of the Tower Road entrance when two male suspects threatened him with a broken bottle and demanded his wallet. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and fled the area. The victim sustained minor injuries, a cut to his hand and a scratch on his face from the bottle, and was treated at the scene by EHS. Officers and a K-9 unit checked the area could not locate the suspects.
