At 10:40 p.m., patrol officers executed a search warrant on Princeton Avenue in Halifax. The warrant was to search the residence for stolen property in relation to a break and enter that had occurred on September 15, 2013. As a result of this search, several electronic items that had been stolen in the break and enter were recovered and a large quantity of marijuana plants were seized. Two male residents were taken in to custody. A 36-year old man is facing a charge of possession of stolen property. A 61-year-old man is facing charges of cultivation of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking. Both men will appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
