Update (11:57 a.m.)Presently there are four persons still in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The matter is still under investigation.
Police Report September 22, 2013GO #13-139103 - Deck Collapse - At 1:32 a.m., police, Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency and EHS responded to a deck collapse in the 100-200 block of Green Village Lane in Dartmouth. Numerous people were on the deck when it collapsed 12 feet to the ground. Approximately 15 people required medical aid for injuries ranging from lacerations to fractures, these people were taken to both the QEII and the Dartmouth General Hospital. Three of these individuals, two women and one man, are listed in serious condition. This matter remains under investigation at this time.
