At 7:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the area of Sunrise Walk in  Halifax.  A twenty-five-year old man reported being shot at while he was outside in the area of Sunrise Walk. The victim was transported to  hospital with a hand injury which is not life threatening. Members from the Forensic Identification Section and the HRP/RCMP Integrated  General Investigative Section are continuing the investigation. At this time, the only description of the suspect is a male with dark hair. At this time, the victim of the shooting is not being cooperative with police.
