A 19-year-old woman attended the HRP station in Dartmouth on October 9 to report she had been assaulted and robbed the evening of October 8. She reports she was walking on Alfred Street near Harbourview School at about 7:40 p.m. when she was followed briefly and then assaulted by a group of 4-5 other females not known to her. The victim was punched and knocked to the ground and kicked before the group took her cell phone, bus pass and some food. She describes the most aggressive of her attackers as a black female, 16-17-years-old, average height and build, hair in a bun with a high hair line, wearing dark/black yoga pants, a long sleeve sweater, black high top sneakers and having a small gap in her front teeth. She could only describe the remaining suspects as black females, 15-18-years-old, wearing dark clothing. The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section is investigating.
