At 7:30 p.m., police responded to a break and enter in progress in the 0-80 block of Slayer Street in Dartmouth. The home owner reported finding a male in his home and when confronted by the homeowner, the suspect fled from the residence. The homeowner reported seeing at least one other male suspect in the driveway of the residence prior to both suspects fleeing. K-9 member attended and was able to initiate a track which led to the location of two youths who were arrested. The two young offenders are facing charges of break and enter, theft, and one of the young offenders is facing an additional charge of possession of a prohibited weapon. The young offenders were released with a future court date.
