At approximately 11:55 p.m., officers were called to the parking lot of a strip mall located at 1658 Bedford Highway for a report of a fight involving a number of people. Further information provided indicated that a man had been stabbed during the altercation. The victim was transported to the QE11 for treatment and is listed in stable condition with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries. A man has been taken into custody and members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Services are continuing to investigate this incident. This is not believed to have been a random act.
