At 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery on Percy Street in Halifax. A 29-year-old woman was walking on Percy Street when she was approached by two male suspects. One of the suspects demanded the victim’s cell phone and produced a knife. Witnesses observed this incident and started yelling at the suspects who fled the area on foot without the cell phone. The victim was not injured during the incident.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’7", 160 lbs. At the time of the incident, he was wearing jeans and a black hoodie which was up over his face. There is no description of the second suspect.
