Update The 28-year-old woman will be appearing this morning in Dartmouth court to face charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and violation of court orders.
Police Report - October 21, 2013 At approximately 6:20 p.m., officers responded to an unknown trouble call at an apartment located on Nivens Avenue in Dartmouth. While enroute to this call, another call was received from Emergency Health Services (EHS) that a 36-year-old man had arrived at their Jamieson Street depot with a stab wound to his arm. The man informed EHS that he had been stabbed at this same address on Nivens Avenue by a woman who was known to him. The man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers attended the address on Nivens Avenue and took a 28-year-old woman in to custody without incident. She is still in police custody and the investigation is continuing. The exact charges that will be laid have not yet been determined.
