On October 24 at 9:50 p.m., officers responded to a fire at an auto repair business located in the 2300 block of Maynard Street in Halifax. A vehicle located at the business was reported to be on fire. It is believed that the van was deliberately set on fire. The vehicle was severely damaged and a building next to where the vehicle was parked sustained minor damage. No one was injured during this incident. The van has been seized for further examination and this matter remains under investigation.
