On October 27 at 6:10 a.m., officers responded to a call to assist Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency with a house fire in the 6200 block of North Street. Officers assisted with evacuating the residence and maintained traffic control while firefighers quickly extinguished the fire. It appears that the fire was contained to a rear exterior corner of the building. No one was injured during the incident. At this time, the cause of the fire is not known and fire investigators along with HRP officers will continue the investigation tomorrow.
