At 4 a.m. on November 5, officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 111 in Dartmouth, between exits six and seven. A car travelling on the highway toward Woodside left the road, hit the guard rail and ended up in the ditch. A man who was the front passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 23-year-old male driver was not injured and was subsequently arrested for impaired operation of motor vehicle. He is currently in custody and charges of refusing to provide a breath sample are anticipated.
