On November 5 at 9:30 p.m., a 20-year-old woman was struck by a car as she crossed Cowie Hill Road at the intersection with Herring Cove Road. She was taken to hospital by EHS with injuries that amounted to cuts and bruises. The 27-year-old female driver of the car was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
