At 1:42 a.m., police responded to the 0-100 block of Evans Avenue for a report of a robbery. A taxi driver picked up a man at the Superstore on Joseph Howe and drove him to Evans Avenue. The man then threatened the driver with a knife and took his cash and cell phone before fleeing the area. The driver wasn't injured during the incident. The suspect is described as a white man, 6'2", thin and gaunt looking, with dark hair and a goatee and wearing a black leather jacket and jeans.
