At 11:30 p.m. on November 8, members of HRP Patrol and the Central Quick Response Unit responded to a break and enter in progress at a residence located in the 2700 block of Fuller Terrace in Halifax. The complainants were asleep in their bedroom when an unknown person entered their room and turned on the lights. They ordered the individual out of their house and contacted police. The responding officers set up containment in the area and located the suspect on foot in the Creighton St area within 10 minutes of the incident occurring. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and was in possession of stolen property. The accused, a 40-year-old woman from the Halifax area has been held and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court in the morning to face Break and Enter/Theft and breach of court order charges.
