On December 1 at approximately 5:35 p.m., a man entered the Petro Canada service station located at 610 Portland Street in Dartmouth. He approached the clerk, handed her a plastic bag and demanded the cash from the till. The suspect received a small amount of cash and then fled the store on foot. The 18-year-old female clerk was not injured during the incident and no weapon was ever seen. Patrol officers as well as a K-9 team checked the area but the suspect was not located. He is described as a white male, 30 to 40-years-old, approximately 5’5”, with a heavy build. He was wearing a blue hoodie, red toque, black gloves and had a blue scarf covering his face.
