On December 2 at 7:50 p.m., officers responded to a robbery call in the 0-100 block of Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth. A 23-year-old man was using his iPhone when he was approached by a man who grabbed the phone and ran off. A second man punched the victim in the side of the head, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect then fled the area. The victim received minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as a man in his early 20’s dressed in dark clothing with his hood up covering his face. The second suspect is described as a light complected black male, approximately 6', wearing a black toque and a grey vest with dark arms.
The matter remains under investigation by the HRP/RCMP General Investigation Unit.
