On December 2 at 10:56 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle/pedestrian collision at the intersection of the Bedford Highway and Larry Uteck Boulevard. A vehicle driven by a 58-year-old woman was heading northbound on the Bedford Highway and lawfully proceeding through a green light to make a left turn onto Larry Uteck Boulevard when it hit a 24-year-old male pedestrian in the crosswalk. The man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The traffic conditions at the time were foggy and dark, and based on the investigation no charges are anticipated under the Motor Vehicle Act.
