On December 3 at 9:46 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at the corner of Lemarchant Street and University Avenue. The investigation revealed that the 18-year-old male driver of the vehicle was travelling west bound on University Avenue and made a righthand turn onto Lemarchant Street where he struck a 58-year-old male pedestrian who was crossing the street. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
