At approximately 12:20 a.m., three males entered the Kit Kat Pizza at 2314 Gottingen Street in Halifax. All three males were wearing  ski masks and  armed with hand guns. One suspect demanded the cash from the register. When the store owner did not comply, one of the suspects struck the store owner with the butt of the gun. The store owner, a 72-year-old man, sustained a cut to his head. The suspects then grabbed numerous cartons of cigarettes and fled the store on foot. No one else was injured. The store owner was taken to hospital by EHS and treated for his injuries. The first suspect is described as as a light skinned black male, 5’8", 190 lbs., wearing a multi-coloured jacket, jeans, and a black ski mask. The second suspect was described as a light skinned black male, approximately 14-years-old, short, wearing a black mask. The third suspect is described as a black male wearing a black mask.
