At 3 p.m., members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 0-100 block of Spencer Avenue in Halifax. Members located a quantity of pills including what is believed to be hydromorphone and illegal cigarettes. Two Halifax men, aged 52 and 55, were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Both were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date. Additional charges may follow.
