Shortly after 3:30 a.m., two women entered a business on Tacoma Drive. They attempted to steal numerous items and were confronted by staff and security. There was a brief scuffle and one of the women pulled something from her pocket and slashed the security officer. It is not known what the weapon was. The two suspects then fled the scene. Police were able to identify both suspects with help from witnesses. They have not yet been arrested for this incident. The security officer was treated for his injury and released.
