GO #13-74730 - Suspicious Circumstances

At 9:15 a.m.  a suspicious incident occurred involving a 12-year-old girl who was walking to St. Mary’s Elementary School on Morris Street in Halifax. According to the child, a man driving a dark colored SUV (no plate info) with tinted windows, approached her and asked her to get into the car and he would provide a  drive to the school. The child refused and ran home and reported the incident to her family. The driver was described as a white man, 6’ tall, unshaven (couple days growth), wearing dirty jeans and a dark colored shirt. Police are continuing the investigation and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
