At 9:25 p.m., three plain clothes members in unmarked vehicles were parked near 2285 Gottigen Street in Halifax. The officers observed a disturbance break out between two men. As the officers exited their vehicles to intervene in the matter, they observed one of the men pull a knife on the other party. The officers drew their service weapons and arrested the suspect. The suspect complied without further incident. No one was injured during this incident. A 57-year-old Halifax man has been held in custody overnight and he will appear in Halifax Provincial Court in the morning to face multiple weapon-related charges.
