At 7:50 a.m. on January 25, 2014, East Division officers responded to a two-vehicle collision that occurred near 175 Main Street in Dartmouth. A Nissan Sentra was travelling westbound on Main Street when it was struck by a Chevy 4x4 truck exiting a parking lot onto Main Street. The two men in the Nissan were not injured but their vehicle sustained significant damage. The 50-year-old male driver of the Chevy sustained a back injury and was taken to hospital for treatment. He was subsequently issued summary offence tickets under the Motor Vehicle Act for being a revoked driver and for failing to yield to oncoming traffic.
