At 3:09 p.m. on March 2, a 55-year-old man was walking across a marked crosswalk on Windsor Street when he was struck by a vehicle that was travelling on Hood Street and attempted to turn left onto Windsor Street. The pedestrian, who fell to the ground and hit his head, was transported to hospital for assessment and will be released shortly. The 25-year-old male driver was issued a ticket for failing to yield to pedestrian in a crosswalk.
