GO #14-40789 - Robbery

On March 24, 2014 at 2:05 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery in the 3900 block of Kencrest Avenue in Halifax.

Responding officers learned that a man had been approached by a male suspect who sprayed the victim in the face with an irritant and then took a bag which contained cash, the victim’s identification and some medications. The suspect then fled the area on foot. The area was checked but the suspect could not be located. 

The suspect is described as a black man, 5' 10", wearing a dark hoodie.

This matter remains under investigation and officers ask anyone with information about this incident to contact police at 490-5016.
