GO# 14-52463 Theft of Cash Register

On April 16 at 9:15 p.m. Halifax Regional Police officers responded to what was initially reported as a robbery at 744 Waverly Rd in Dartmouth, Patton’s General Store. A 20-year-old man who was working in the store reported that a male came in to the store, bought some lottery tickets and then left. A few minutes later the same male returned to the store, grabbed the cash register off of the counter and fled the store. He was seen getting into a white 4-door car. The clerk was not injured or threatened during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, brown curly hair, unshaven, wearing a two-tone blue golf shirt. At this time the suspect has not been located and the matter is still under investigation.
