At approximately 7:20 p.m., a man was crossing Jubilee Rd at Beech St in a marked crosswalk, as he entered into the crosswalk he was struck by the passenger side mirror of a motor vehicle that was travelling eastbound on Jubilee Road. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene of the collision.
The 70-year-old male victim in this matter attended the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and then contacted police to report the incident. The suspect vehicle in the matter is described as a mid-sized sedan, possibly a Honda that was grey/silver in color. The victim indicates that there were other uninvolved vehicles in the area that had stopped for him to cross the street at the time of the collision who may have witnessed the collision.
