Last night at 9:47 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to the House of Mei Mei 264 Bedford Highway for a robbery. A male entered the restaurant and used a sensory irritant on an employee and then fled. A K-9 unit and patrol searched for the suspect but he could not be located. Members of the Forensic Identification Section and General Investigation Section attended and the file is still under investigation. The suspect is described as a male approximately mid-twenties, approximately 5’8”, dressed in black with his face covered.
