On November 29 at 1:10 a.m. Halifax Regional Police received a report of a robbery in the area of Cogswell Street by the Emera Oval. A group of 10-15 youths approached two men and a woman who were walking in the area. A female youth punched the woman in the face, knocking her to the ground, and took her wallet. Another youth punched one of the men in the face, knocked him to the ground and punched and kicked him. The other man began to fight with the group who fled the area on foot towards North Park Street. All three victims were treated at the scene by EHS. The only description of the suspects was one black female youth with dreadlocks and black male youths wearing dark clothing. The incident remains under investigation by the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
