GO# 16-105325 – Man charged with trespass by night and voyeurism

UPDATE: Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division continued on with this investigation and have charged a Halifax man with trespass by night and voyeurism.  Thirty-five year old Jonathan Carmon Jordan was charged with the above offences and released by a Justice of the Peace from police custody with conditions to keep the peace, not possess video recording or photo equipment, to remain in his residence between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and to stay away from the victim and her residence.  He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------At 1:19 a.m. on July 16, HRP received a call from a woman on Morris Street in Halifax who indicated there was a man watching her through her bedroom window. Upon their arrival, responding members arrested a 35-year-old man in the rear of the woman’s residence. The man remains in custody and the matter is still under investigation.
