At 1 p.m. on July 17, a 21-year-old man was walking in the area of the 200 block of Lacewood Drive in Halifax when he was approached by two men who proceeded to assaulted him with a stick and take a small quantity of cash. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment. One suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s wearing a blue hoodie, black shorts and a ball cap. The second suspect is described as a white man in his early 50s wearing blue shorts, a black t-shirt, short cropped hair, 5’8” height wearing eye glasses. Both suspects fled the scene on foot. It hasn’t been determined at this time if the victim and suspects are known to one another as the incident is still under investigation.
