At 1:19 a.m. on July 21, a resident living in the 100 block of James Windfield Lane in Bedford noticed a male suspect dressed in dark clothing enter his vehicle that was parked in his driveway. The suspect fled the area on foot without any property but was later apprehended by police with the assistance of a K-9 Unit a short distance away on the same street. The 15-year-old youth is facing charges of attempt theft from motor vehicle, trespass by night and breach of undertaking. He has been held for court in the morning.
