At approximately 11:30 p.m. on September 12, officers attended a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Gottingen and Cogswell Streets. A cyclist was travelling south on Gottingen Street going straight through the intersection at Cogswell Street. A driver travelling north on Gottingen Street turned left onto Cogswell Street and struck the cyclist. The 24-year-old female cyclist was taken to the QEII hospital with serious injuries. Officers from the Accident Investigation Unit were called to the scene and will be conducting the investigation.
