At 3:20 a.m. on September 23, staff at the Sobeys at 1120 Queen Street in Halifax contacted police after observing two intoxicated males damaging property belonging to the store in the parking lot. When staff approached the suspects, one produced a bat in a threatening manner. Both suspects fled on foot. The incident remains under investigation.
