At approximately 4:15 p.m. on February 7, Halifax Regional Police received a call that the occupants of a vehicle near the BMO Centre in Bedford were in possession of a handgun. Patrol officers located the vehicle and performed a high-risk take down on Joseph Howe Drive in Halifax. As a result of the stop, officers arrested two male youths and recovered a loaded handgun along with a quantity of marihuana.The investigation is continuing and the youths will be attending Halifax Court on Monday.
