At approximately 4 p.m. on March 7, a man entered Guardian Drugs located at 6199 Coburg Road, went behind the pharmacy counter, produced a knife and robbed the pharmacist. He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and drugs before leaving on foot. The suspect who was last seen running south on Lemarchant Street was described as a white man in his twenties, with an olive complexion, gaunt facial features and had medium height and build. He was last seen wearing a black and white plaid style jacket and black gloves, pants and toque. None of the staff in the store were injured. The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
