Shortly before 10 p.m. on June 24, officers responded to the area of Spring Garden Road and Carleton Street to a report of a robbery. A 27-year-old man reported that he was approached by another man who asked him for cash. When the victim said he didn’t have any money the man punched him in the face and ran away. The suspect has not been located and the incident remains under investigation by the General Investigative Section. The suspect is described as a white man with salt and pepper scraggly hair and squinty eyes. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a ragged hat and a plaid shirt. Investigators are asking anyone who has any information on this incident to contact police by calling 902-490-5016.
