On Saturday night at approximately 7:50 P.M. Halifax Regional Police officers attempted to stop a stolen Jeep Patriot on Albro Lake Rd, Dartmouth. The police were in a marked patrol car with emergency equipment activated, but the vehicle continued west up Albro Lake Road without stopping. Police discontinued trying to stop the vehicle but quickly located the vehicle on Leman Drive as the lone male occupant was fleeing. Police were unable to locate this male using a canine unit.
