At 3:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in the 2300 block of Longard Plaza in Halifax. A man entered the store and demanded money. The clerk handed over a sum of money to the suspect who then fled the store and was last seen running towards Brunswick Street. The clerk wasn't physically injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white man, tall, skinny, wearing a gray hoodie, dark sweat pants and white running shoes. The General Investigative Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Section is continuing to investigate the case.
