At approximately 6:35 p.m. last night Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of 1781 Upper Water Street for a report of a male masturbating in public. Upon arrival, officers located and subsequently arrested the man who was sitting on a nearby bench continuing to masturbate in plain view of the public. The 55-year-old man will attend Halifax Provincial Court in the morning charged with committing an indecent act 173(1)CC.
