At 12:59 a.m. members of the Halifax Regional Police came upon a man laying on the ground near 66 Highfield Park Drive with a head injury. It was learned the man was walking on Highfield Park Drive where he was attacked by a group of 6 or 7 people. The suspects stole several items from the victim and then fled the area. The victim was transported to the QE2 Health Sciences Centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
