At 10:20 a.m. on Sunday, December 8, HRP officers attended a vehicle/pedestrian motor vehicle accident that occurred in a parking lot adjacent to 94 Gaston Rd. in Dartmouth. The victim, a 56-year-old woman, was out of her vehicle examining some unrelated damage to her car near the driver’s side rear quarter panel when she was struck by a 53-year-old female driver who was backing from a nearby parking space. This resulted in the victim being temporarily pinned between the cars and resulted in serious but non-life threatening injuries. The victim was taken to the QEII Hospital where she remains at this time. This matter remains under investigation and charges have not been laid at this point.
