Halifax Regional Police received a call from staff at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility regarding an assault that occurred at the facility at approximately 10:30 a.m. today, Saturday, September 27. Four guards and two inmates were in a physical altercation. The investigation is in the initial stages.
